Hi, my name is Caryn Toltzien, but I go by CJ, as it’s easier for people to say, especially children. I am married and have four kids and two Siberian huskies. You can say my house is a bit of a zoo. I have been a photographer for 8 years. I have always loved taking photos, but never thought anything of it as far as making it a profession. I was extremely intimidated to purchase a DSLR camera for many reasons; all the buttons and functions made me nervous. When I took it out of the box is when it all started. I started taking pictures of everything, then soon focused on my kids. I guess you can say the rest is history.

My focus and passion is working with children and newborns. Children grow so fast and I always love looking back at pictures of my kids when they were little and see how they’ve changed. I love being able to capture these milestones for others. My favorite photos are the ones where kids aren’t listening to their parents, I seem to capture the best candid shots of them just being silly kids and having fun, as I’m a kid at heart myself. :)
